The theme here is kitchen sounds, but wait...the sounds in previous improvisations got off easy. In this one, after a while, they're blown kicking and screaming into some kind of effects-laden space, where they're morphed into bizarre and alien soundscapes.
Sounds used include:
A rolling pepper shaker, a glass rolling on a counter, a Nutella cap being taken off, a bag of Raisin Bran, water running into an empty dishpan, kitchenware being rustled, whipped cream being dispensed, silverware being obtained, and paper towels being applied to a table.
Well, it's a noise album, and I like noise albums that are good, and it's a good noise album, so I like it! I listen to it when I'm driving... Dry Eyes
Every sound here is made using Megan Mitchell's voice, even though the music often sounds more like Earth’s vibrations than a human singing. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 28, 2023
